Undergraduate Admissions

Apply to Undergraduate Programs

The School of Computer and Data Sciences offers a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment where students gain the technical, analytical, and creative skills needed to thrive in today’s data-driven world.

Whether you are applying for the first time, exploring a major, or transferring from another institution, the information below will help guide your way.

Declaring or Changing a Major/Minor

Students interested will first meet with an advisor from CAS Academic Advising in Tykeson Hall prior to declaring the major.

During the advising appointment, you will develop an academic plan for completing your degree. You are also encouraged to meet with an advisor as you progress through the major to be sure that you are satisfying your major and University of Oregon degree requirements.

Transfer Students

Transfer students are encouraged to contact an advisor from CAS Academic Advising in Tykeson Hall early to discuss how courses taken at other colleges and universities will transfer to the UO and to begin developing an academic plan.
