Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and The University of Oregon's School of Computer and Data Sciences (SCDS) are excited to offer an intensive 3-day, in-person workshop located in Eugene, Oregon. This event provides participants with access to cutting-edge high-performance computing hardware and software tools. Attendees will receive personalized training from industry and academic experts, focusing on optimizing applications to harness the full potential of the latest AMD Instinct™ series MI300A hardware.
We are bringing together experts from AMD as well as TAU to provide hands-on mentorship in porting existing applications onto AMD's latest state-of-the-art platforms. We expect approximately 8-10 teams of participants, each consisting of 3-5 members. The main workshop will take place in-person at UO over 3-days in addition to a virtual training conducted a week prior, covering basic training on profiling and tracing using AMD tools, TAU, and other topics of interest to the participants.
